You'll discover the language of fragrance through top, middle, and base notes, understand how each botanical material is extracted from its source, and blend your own perfume from a palette of 12 plant-derived ingredients. Every decision is yours. Every scent tells a story.

Each participant will blend their chosen plant essences into a 15ml glass bottle to keep as a scented memory of their time in Rome. The workshop is approximately 2 hours long. Cost per person is €125 and includes all materials.

Woven through it all is the world of Ancient Rome — a civilization that understood the profound importance of botanical scent in daily life, ritual, beauty, and medicine. History here isn't a lecture. It's something you smell, touch, and carry home with you.

What makes our perfume workshops different than others?

• Workshop size is maximum 10 students. This allows for a more personal experience and plenty of opportunity for questions and conversation.

• REAL botanical oils are used and sourced from the highest quality suppliers globally. No synthetics. You will not find scents that cannot be extracted from plants on the palette.

• Every step is DIY. You will do everything from choosing the materials to the actual formulation and blending. No sitting and waiting for someone else to do this.

• A full two hours. No rushing. The workshop is a calm yet fun environment.

• A real learning experience. The origins of the materials are fully explained, why they are used, and how. The goal is for you to be able to recreate the perfume again if you wish.
